At the Northern end of the Lake of the same name, Annecy is one of the most popular resort towns of the French Alps.
With architecture dating back to the 17th Century and maybe earlier, the most visited and picturesque area of the town is the warren of lanes, passages and arcades around the chateau and the canal-side walks, cafes and restaurants. (see Map) |
